The TreeHouse

“The TreeHouse” was a 5 year long installation at the Figment Arts Festival on Governor’s Island, NY. Originally an exercise in sustainable design and the culmination of my Exhibition Design thesis project, the TreeHouse started as a use of reclaimed and sustainably produced materials. In its later years, it served as an interactive art gallery hosting works by other artists and muralists.

Along with being a design challenge, it was a playground for kids and adults to use their imaginations to interact with the space.

The TreeHouse was an ever evolving project with different artists, muralists and materials and each year it took on a slightly different feel from the previous years.
